Remember Vn touting "impeachment of Bush" as a viable political
strategy for...someone...in the US? I made a lot of political hay
about this since this POV of has historically been used by: 1.
Stalinists, 2. Liberals and 3. the 'alter-globalizers' and NGOs that
have taken over large sections of the left in the US. Vngelis, of
course, fits in neatly on this question with all three of these
betrayers. However, I also said it wouldn't get very far. I may be
wrong about that. I can't believe, V-man himself hasn't jumped all
over me on this, but, being this is APST, I'll do it for him.
Kucincich has successfully introduced such a motion for impeachment
into the US House. I didn't think it would get this far...that is,
even an 'introduction'. Apparently I was wrong. I still doubt it will
get out of committee. What I didn't expect, however, is that it would
receive that much attention. In this I was wrong as it has received
more attention than I thought. Of course V actually predicted the Prez
would get impeached, which is of course par-for-the-course-in-
political-lunacy for him but we have to give him 1 point on this. So,
1 point for Vngelis (this leaves 5,982 points for David, but whose
counting?).
