Yes, everything is going great.  Radical Islamists are
taking casualties, Muslims are suffering ruin as a
result of radical Islam, and Christians are not taking
casualties trying to fix a mess that radical Muslims
created.

This is how you win wars.  Trying to wipe the tears from
every eye, as in Iraq, is how you lose wars.  You win
wars by making the enemy suffer.  This frequently
results in lots of suffering.  If it is mostly other
people that are suffering, you are winning.
