Narrated 'Ikrima: 'Ali burnt some people and this news reached ibn
'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt
them, as [Muhammad] said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's
Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for [Muhammad] said,
'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.'" 4:52:260

a sane male apostate must be executed.[1] A female apostate may either
be put to death according to some schools, imprisoned according to
others, or exempt from punishment according to the Hanafi school.[2]
The Sharia laws governing apostasy are derived from the hadith
traditions. According to Wael Hallaq nothing of the apostasy law are
derived from the Qur'an, [3] although the jurist Al-Shafi'i
interpreted the Quranic verse [Qur'an 2:217] as providing the main
evidence for apostasy being a capital crime in Islam.[4]

Why shouldn't Americans be anti-Muslim after 9/11 and earlier acts of

the constant chant of "Death to America". And don't blame Bush, it
