Those "estate barons" are wealthy white conservatives
who, in a state of panic see impending doom in the fall
elections.

Those who aren't politicians (lou Dobbs, ie) are in
ratings wars with a rival cable entertainment network
and has found he can "cross" ideological lines to gain
a following---translating into higher ratings

You'll notice that Dobbs has never accurately broken
down the "numbers" relating to the "drain" vs the
"gain" by the so-called "illegals"

By percentage--the "drain" on government by illegals is
less than the percentage "drain" by other ethnic
citizen groups---

The "gain" is that the illegals produce, pay taxes, pay
into SS (albeit illegally) and generally can't expect a
payout.  Those children born here (then citizens) can,
and will be, the next generation of SS payers.
