The next time you receive your electricity, gas or phone bill don't
just discard the flyers and other inserts included in the envelope.
Instead, read through some of them and you'll be intriduced to an
array of programs established to pay the energy and phone bills of
illegal aliens ... er, "low-income consumers." The ironic thing -- at
least here in Southern California, anyway (although I suspect it holds
true thoughout the country) is that tucked right under the electric
etc. companies' colorful, illustrated notices touting special programs
to provide "low-income" illegal aliens with free services are often
dry-looking, text-filled black-and-white notices to non-"low-income"
customers that the company has applied to raise the non-"low-income"
customers rates.
For example, even as they apply for more rate increases, the
Southern California Gas Company mainatins full-scale web pages showing-
off all the programs it maintains to pay illegal aliens' energy bills
at a time when Americans themselves are being killed financially by
sky-high energy rates. See, for example, the California Alternate

All one need do to be eligible to receive a whopping 20% discount
and other reductions on their energy bills is to receive Food Stamps
or WIC benefits from the government, something which the vast majority
of illegal aliens DO. (The government sends the illegal alien parents
the Food Stamps and WIC benefits on the premise that "the benefits are
only for the children, not their illegal alien parents" (wink). That's
why everytime I shop at Wal-Mart Supercenter I see non-English-
speaking illegals buying the most-expensive name-brand products while
citizens such as my family are reduced to pinching pennies by buying
the cheaper generic and off-brand versions.)
You see -- and every struggling Americans needs to be made aware of
this -- in the United States *any* illegal alien can claim to be "low-
income" and receive virtually *any* benefit or service available. On
the other hand, hard-working, law-abiding American citizens are shut-
out of the same programs.
How does this happen?
Simple: No one -- not the electric, gas or phone companies nor the
school employee who accepts illegal aliens' applications for free
breakfasts and lunches for their anchor babies nor even the police
themselves have any idea of what the real incomes of illegal aliens
are.
And you wondered how the same illegal alien families which own gas-
guzzling $50,000 SUV's and other luxuries manage to receive Food
Stamps and get their kids on the federal free breakfast/lunch program?
Note: I noticed the other morning that one of the local high schools
now has a sign erected in front of the main entrance advertising -- in
Spanish -- that free breakfasta and lunches are being served now while
school is out. Ironically, this is the *same* high school from which,
as per the local newspaper, hundreds of anchor babies left school and
boisterously marched through the streets two years ago demanding
amnesty for illegal aliens, at one point engaging in a foul-mouthed,
defiant stand-off with the local police.
