It is a well-known FACT---that conservatives,
particuarily the religious reich, are emotionally
driven to buy any book, magazine, or "news"
entertainment that supplies them with propaganda that
enhances their beliefs.
They/you don 't give a rat's ass if it's truth or
not---only that it must make you feel legitimized and
good about what you believe.
On any given day, just like the televangelists, they
can feature a Regnery book full of lies, stories,
innuendo and theory and it will make the "top 10" list
in a matter of hours.
No matter that it's only appealing to that extreme
right demographic----it's the ability of the propaganda
to skew the numbers to LOOK LIKE it has broad appeal
Conservatives have been listening to Faux (started
specifically to entertain the right), the Moonie Times
(owned by a fascist Cult leader), and (worst of all) a
dozen or so Scaife funded rightwing "media" rags that
have never offered truth so long it's no wonder you
poor assholes are so ill-informed.
