It's up to you to invest your life with meaning.
For some, it is love and children.
It may be the search for scientific facts and understanding.
It may be the pursuit of pleasure.
It may be the act of creation.
It may be the expression of the human spirit through the arts.
You may find fulfilment in saving the Earth, ac***ulating wealth,
exploring 
the full athletic potential of your body, revelling in physical sensation
of 
all kinds, protecting the weak, caring for others, making your mark on
human 
history, pursuing any dream you choose even if it is an evil one ...

.... or even grovelling and running after some petulant clingy bossy 
disturbed deity with more hang-ups than Paris Hilton's wardrobe, if that
is 
what floats your boat.

In short, the meaning of life is what you make it.
