Just this morning he took a frightening shot at Obama. It was such a
strange thing to say, and the implications were so grave that one
might interpret it as meaning that he would sup****t literally *any*
step, legal or otherwise to keep Obama out of the white house. It was
the most blunt insinuation George Bush has yet made that not only can
Democracy not be trusted, but in the interest of "National Security,"
as personally interpreted by the Coke-head In Chief, *certain people*
(people who don't agree with his policies) simply have no business
being elected and must be stopped by any means available. This
mistrust of Democracy is either stunning or completely predictable,
coming as it does from a man who cheated his way into office and
cheated again in Ohio in 2004 (and probably other places, too) so he
could stay there.
"Only I Can Save America" almost has to be lurking around somewhere in
that megalomaniacal, pitted little brain of his. I bet he has the same
sycophant assholes who told him torture was okay and the Constitution
was "Just a goddamned piece of paper" looking at ways whereby he would
have to stay in office after January, or maybe for life, just in case
something "unacceptable" happened. And in light of these peoples wide
ranging definition of "unacceptable," they might not even feel like
telling us what it was, but it could be well this side of Barack Obama
getting elected. Or it could be as inflated as one of Chertoffs
"Terror Alerts." These people have embraced the entire Soviet concept
of **** You Government and they have a very itchy finger on the
Tyranny Trigger right now.
Rome didn't last very long as a Republic and things move a hell of a
lot faster these days.
