Richard Holbrooke has an op-ed piece in today's Wa****ngton Compost
stating that
Harry Truman did the right thing by recognizing Israel before Israel
even had a name,
against the wishes of the entire foreign policy establishement. His
argument that this
was the right thing is that not doing so would be, according to him,
unthinkable.
He is absurd.
ALWAYS think the unthinkable. Wonder where GHW Bush was was JFK was
shot.
Wonder if John McCain started the Forrestal fire of 1967. ALWAYS think
that stuff.
That is how democracy works.
