Steven Spielberg has said he is happy to make another Indiana Jones
movie if fans enjoy the long-awaited fourth film, Kingdom of the
Crystal Skull.
The director is in Cannes, joining stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett
and ****a LaBeouf at the film's premiere.
Asked at a press conference if he wanted to make another film, he
said: "Only if you want more.
"That's why we made this Indiana Jones. We'll certainly have our ear
to the ground to hear what happens."
"That'll decide were we go from here," Spielberg added.
Re****ters got to see the film - the first Indiana Jones movie in 19
years - at an official screening ahead of the premiere.
The BBC's Mark Savage said it was "very much in the style of the first
three films". "The set-piece stunts are second to none," he added.
"There's also a sly acknowledgement of internet rumours that that ****a
LaBeouf will take over the franchise," he continued.

First it was 'Rocky' trying to punch-out senility, now
it's Geriatric Jones ... didja ever get the feeling that
Hollywoods supply of iconic action-hero types is running
dangerously low ? Are we stuck with "Harold & Kumar" from
now on ???
Perhaps those two ARE iconic - appropriate for decadent,
jaded, decaying western civilization as it slowly circles
the drain ? There's no sense of purpose anymore, no energy
for 'advancement' or even a direction to advance towards.
All that's left is, well, Harold & Kumar - foggily stumbling
through the day - unsure of where they've been, where they're
going or what they've been doing.
Oh well, soon the iconoic action-hero types will all be
cut from the NEW cloth - Chinese and Islamic. They're new,
they're hot, they're hungry, they're going places. No doubts,
no fear, no self-loathing, lean mean machines.. They now have
that coveted 'eye of the tiger'.
Can the west snatch it back ?
I don't really think so ... not for a few centuries anyhow.
Even if we can avoid going all the way down that drain, we
will remain divided, rudderless - and penniless too if the
trends continue.
