This new special-interest, ****k-laden farm bill is typical old-style
politics. When Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both voted to over-ride
President Bush's veto of this bill, which would give huge subsidies to the
biggest, wealthiest farmers, it showed clearly to Americans that these
would-be "reform" presidents do not represent change at all, but the same
old corrupt, special-interest politics that has the Democrat Congress at a
22% approval rating.
When the sanctimonious and arrogant Barack Obama boasts about bringing
"change" to Wa****ngton, all we see is more of the same. But what else
could
one expect from the anointed candidate of the corrupt Daley Democrat
machine of South Chicago and Cook County?
Incidentally John McCain, to his credit, voted to sustain Bush's veto of
this wasteful spending of taxpayers' money.
Shamefully many other Republicans voted with the Democrats.
