Suspected burglar shot in Monroe County

TELLICO PLAINS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies and
Tellico Plains Police responded to a shooting in Southeast Tennessee
off Highway 68 on Old State Road, near the Mount Vernon Fire
Department late Wednesday evening.
Re****ts from the scene indicate one victim is suffering from a gunshot
wound.
That person is believed to be a suspect in a burglary, according to
the Advocate-Democrat.
A second suspect has been caught.
