Who can afford to drive unnecessarily, I'm barely getting by (no money
for recreation whatsoever), I only drive from work to home and I
barely can afford that, with my mortgage and household bills which
along with food and other necessities that are also rising along with
fuel (Note: I had my natural gas connection diconnected all winter,
no furnace, and used space heaters to barely heat my home, for
Minnesota that's almost insane, but I couldn't afford the fuel).
I don't begrudge anyone making a fair wage thats more than mine, you
may have the extra money to work with, but when you hit the point were
you have to cut heating fuel, air conditioning, phone or cable service
to get by from month to month, then you have to acknowledge that some
are literally being driven to homelessness by these excessive gas
prices.
I don't think any one industry should be allowed to bankrupt a nation,
Our Nation, gasoline and diesel fuel have become a necessity for day
to day living, therefore their price needs to be regulated to a fair
profit, not monopoly profit, if the oil companies refuse to cooperate,
then we need to declare a National Emergency and Nationalize the Oil
and Refining Industry tem****arily, or permanently, if we don't get
cooperation, this is a crisis thats not going to go away and if
Congress continues to do nothing or drag their feet, then they all
need to be booted out of office, especially those who choose to do
nothing or even worse choose to do things that make things worse.
If anyone sup****ts these ideas, then please contact your congress-
person and senators and demand action. If we don't act now we'll all
be slaves to the oil industry for the rest of our lives or homeless
and on the street. Do you want your family or friends to end up like
that?

Contact Congress and demand they do whatever they can to allow us the
right to cheap trans****tation.
Phone, Email, or Visit your Senators and Congressmen at their offices
in your state and or in Wa****ngton D.C.
You could make the difference and turn this country back to its
citizens.
