Imagine a junkie with a $300 a day habit

Now imagine that junkie ripping into his couch trying to retrieve coins 
that have fallen into it over the years so he can get his next fix 
because he has already blown next week's paycheck on last week's dope.


Now imagine American oil companies tearing up the Arctic National 
Wildlife Reserve...

There is just not enough oil left in the ground to meet the growing 
demand for it, and just like a junkie is incapable of facing life 
without the hope of getting his next fix, many Americans refuse to 
believe that the party is over and no amount of drilling will bring the 
price of oil down.
