High gas prices = taste of SOCIALIST Europe

How does it feel?  The Eurotrash socialists have endured $4+ a gallon
(well, it's $8-10 now) gas for the last 20 years or so.  In addition
to huge income tax rates and much lower overall incomes.  Is everyone
enjoying this sampling of the MISERY of working mostly for the STATE?
The various criminals in government crow and complain about "the
industry" but then why have gas taxes kept lock-step pace with gas
prices?  Governments LOVE this because even though average people's
incomes are falling, they're revenues are rising, hugely.  Industry is
governed by demand, the demand for fuel (much like for nearly every
commodity, metal, etc) has risen (thanks to the Far East) by leaps and
bounds in the last three years, but why are governments allowing taxes
on these goods to rise as fast?  Has "demand" for any government
service increased as fast in the West?  No, they just want the money.
