I still miss the "Liberals go hysterical" part.  I am neither surprised
nor thrilled nor depressed over something that seems quite probable.  I
don't know if there is or is not 90 billion barrels of oil in the arctic. 
But why would I get "hysterical" over it?  I think the moron that wrote
the subject line has some fascination with an issue that isn't an issue. 
The Republicans have no choice in this.  They __**MUST**__ create
new issues because they are totally fried on all the real and current
issues.  And that also is not a surprise.  Unless and until we are able to
institute a carbon tax that will effectively account for the atmospheric
destruction caused by the burning of the oil, alternatives will not be
price competitive.  We do not need to subsidize biofuels from algae or
cellulose.  All we need do is properly account for the subsides we are
currently giving to oil.  And we do that by taxing it and using the
proceeds in some beneficial way.
