Personally I suspect that a lack of meat or other animal protein in
the diet can cause one to lose one's mental balance. Consider Germany,
before 1914 or since 1960 one would be hard pressed to find a more
affable creature than the average German. On ersatz sausage they
became Nazis or Commies. Or consider the violence Upper Caste Indians,
forbidden meat and many other foods inflict on the "backwards" castes.
