Rupert, slavishly adoring of a third-rate philosophy prof who spent his
career at an academic backwater, uncritically quoted the third-rate prof
and blabbered:

30 hours of recorded conversations provide ample justification for their
acts.

International, informed state, Federal and local authorities of the
undercover operation when United States Surgical first had evidence of a
bomb threat last June. The operation, the spokesmen say, was turned over
to the Norwalk police on Nov. 9, as soon as the company's agents
realized Ms. Trutt intended to carry out her plans. 'When the facts are
out, you will see that everything was done for the protection of myself
and my people, with the full cooperation of the police,' said Mr.
Hirsch. 'Don't forget: This lady tried to premeditatively murder me.'"
