We successfully pulled off our show. It was fun. It was packed. The kids
kicked in 55 bucks.
It was one guy's first, and he ended up enjoying it.
I was glad of that.
And another tried to bum a ride from me. Geez he is only 20. There is
very
little pretense there. I just won't do it
On the way home, driving my boys home, I came across a truck in the middle
of
the road. I had to stop and watch, as it was labelled
"Mobile Splicing Unit"
I was dying to see these ad hoc mutants created in the middle of first
street,
ru****ng forth to inhabit this little city. Suddenly, I had a very simple
explanation for the many odd residents I had me throughout the years.
After
watching for a while, it became apparent it was a cable splicing unit. I
was
very disappointed.
I just don't have the courage. And I want some of
it to be true. It's not.
