Resolution (H. Res.) 1106: the Articles of Impeachment Against President
George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of State, Ms.
Condoleeza-Rice, as introduced by Honorary Congresswoman Cynthia
McKinney's
(D-GA), on 8 December 2006.
Our request is based on the following:
.. The Case for Impeachment, as described by Hon. Congresswoman Ms.
Cynthia
McKinney in H. Res. 1106: in accordance with: (a) Article I. Failure to
Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution, the conduct of which
includes
Manipulating Intelligence and Lying to Justify War; (b) Article II: Abuse
of
Office and of Executive Privilege, the conduct of which includes: Failure
to
Uphold Accountability; and (c) Article III: Failure to Ensure the Laws are
Faithfully Executed, the conduct of which includes Illegal Domestic
Spying.
.. The Case for Impeachment, as described by Hon. Congresswoman Ms.
Cynthia
McKinney in her Extension of Remarks on H. Res. 1106, entered into the
Congressional Record on 27 December 2006 (pages E2253 - 2255); described
as
"further actions by the President that warrant further investigation as
possible grounds for impeachment as identified by many scholars, lawyers
and
concerned citizens," such as: [I] Failure to Ensure The Laws are
Faithfully
Executed: (1) Self-Exemption From Laws Upon Signing; (2) Suspension of
Basic
Legal Proceedings; (3) Promoting Illegal War; (4) Promoting Torture; (5)

yet introduced).
.. 51% of all U.S. voters consider impeachment a priority, accordingly the
New Democratic Congress, of whom you are the House Speaker, has a 51%
Mandate to Impeach President Bush: (a) Democrats.com, a "Newsweek Poll
Shows
New Democratic Congress will Have a 51% Mandate to Impeach Bush", (b)
MSNBC's
Olbermann (on YouTube), a Newsweek poll found 51% of all U.S. voters
considered impeachment a priority.
