As long as prohibition is in effect smoking or va****ising wins the
price war. It takes about 10x as much cannabis by mouth(GI tract) as
by inhalation to produce similar effects. In addition cannabis
by mouth might be effective medically but recreationally comes on
unevenly and over a 8 to 12 hour period. Cannabis patches might
work and the idea deserves investigation but as long as it is
illegal no one will put money into such research.

Smoking or va****ising lets the active ingredients be absorbed in the
most expeditious manner getting to the brain quickly. That
is why smoking cocaine and/or heroin is so quickly habit forming.

However as has been shown in the past tobacco paralyses the bronchial
villa which sweep the nasty stuff away while cannabis seems
to stimulate them.

Well duh! You do know tobacco is addictive?
