Unless you do immediate summary execututions upon arrest, you will have
millions of people in jails waiting for trials (since I don't think they
typically give low bail for capital crimes) -- and there aren't enough
jails.
Then you'll have millions on death row waiting for execution with required
appeals for capital cases.

But I really, really doubt the majority would favor the death penalty for
use
of marijuana -- especially since the majority of US citizens sup****t legal
medical marijuana, and very few people believe that marijuana possession
should be more than a misdemeanor.

Legalize all currently illegal drugs and the US economy and budget will
see
an almost immediate benefit, as will society as a whole.
