Average price of a gallon of gas in Europe is at least $10. In some
countries, $12+.
So price does not have a positive effect to urge goverments, private
institutions and individuals knowledgeable in the technology to
develope alternative energies. But no avail. People are frozen both in
Europe and the USA; they cannot demand development of alternative
energy from their goverments or institutions. Goverments and
institutions do not give a damn.
Brasil is the only exception. It produces a good amount of alcohol
from sugar cane. With the sup****t of oil, Brasil is not dependent on
oil from hostile countries.
