This is not a good situation. Two scenarios come to mind where it is 
entirely possible that emotions will outweigh reason:

1)  Hillary pulls it off and gets named Democrat candidate for President. 
Obamites will feel cheated, that she somehow "stole the election." Aside 
from possible violence during the convention (like in 1968), in the wider 
national election not too many blacks are going to vote Hillary for 
President in this scenario. Or, they sit it out, which is probably more 
dangerous. Four years of feeling disenfranchised (even if voluntarily,
such 
as the Palestinians who now claim a 'right of return') can build
resentment, 
envy, and frustration to extreme levels.

2) Obama does get nominated, but loses the wider election. Maybe scenario 
(1) will apply here as well, but it's hardly likely. Looking at racial 
voting "blocs", the black vote is nice to get, but not essential. Now, if 
blacks vote in significant numbers and Obama flames out, the idea of a 
racist America gets reinforced and we're all back to square one.

Either way, the nation suffers at a time when we're going to be challenged

like never before.
