    Sure. That's just logical if you have any sense. Armed citizens make
lousy 
targets for crime. Unarmed ones are prime fodder. But you must admit that
the 
US has a higher crime rate than, say, Switzerland, where guns are at least
as 
familiar. Shooting s****ts are family events and social functions.
Automatic 
weapons are familiar. What's the difference?

    It's not the gun culture, it's the culture in general. Let's face it, 
Americans as a whole are an undisciplined lot. Irresponsible and, face
facts, 
not all that smart.
