LOL!  You got that right, and you don't have to go all the way to China to

hear it, either.  There's plenty of elderly Chinese right here in
California 
who have nothing good to say about the "yap-bun". I knew one old guy named

John Yip who was "interrogated" not once but twice by the Japanese in 
Shanghai during the War and he could barely walk by a Japanese restaurant 
without breaking out in a sweat and cursing them all in delicious Chinese.

I also recall my great uncle (Adm. Alfred M. Pride) who was in charge of 
planning the air cover for Operation Olympic (which never happened thank 
God). His take was that dropping the bomb saved untold American - and 
Japanese - lives.

Chris, screw these handwringers.  If they want to stew and fret about the 
past then let 'em go ahead, but they can get the hell out of the way as we

build the future.
