"protect the United States people" you mean launch op****tunistic
wars of aggression against non-threatening foreign nations on the
other side of the world. What do such wars, and their subsequent
hostile military occupations, have to do with protecting the people
of America? Nothing. Then do just the opposite -- they *endanger*
