The trial is underway in Toronto of Garth Drabinsky and Myron Gottlieb
who are accused of fraud and forgery in connection with alleged
misstatements of the financial position of Livent between 1993 and
1998.
Although the alleged crimes occured 10 to 15 years ago these two media
darlings have not fled to Israel to escape justice. Since the victims
of their alleged criminal activity seem to be Gentiles, does Israel
still provide a safe haven for jews defrauding Gentiles?
Regardless, my prediction is that even if found guilty, they will
spend little time in jail and continue to be darlings of the
jewsmedia. Last year Gordon Eckstein pleaded guilty to one count of
fraud in the case, and received a two-year conditional sentence.
