Doing nothing - waiting on these self-involved thugs - is
a crime against humanity.
We don't have to 'nuke' them ... but we - and every other
civilized country - needs to get AROUND them immediately.
If seeing other governments do what their OWN government
should have been doing destabilizes the junta, well, my
heart just bleeds for 'em .....

It's not even about "power" ... aside from the power to do
what's right.
>Bosnia yes

Bosnia took a long time to develop - an escalating series
of insurgents -vs- government, government -vs- insurgents,
christians -vs- moslems, moslems -vs- christians ... there
was TIME to see what was happening and form a plan.
These mega-disasters however ... the tsunami, the Pakistan
earthquake, the typhoons in Bangladesh and Burma ... no warning,
no TIME. If anything useful is to be done it needs to be done
QUICKLY.

"Genocide" is a term reserved for one racial/ethnic group
literally wiping-out the genes of a rival group. There
was nothing 'different' about the afflicted and unafflicted
in Burma except the geographical particulars. The junta
JUST DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN. Their own power and interests
predominate. They are not a 'government' by any modern
definition, merely the most powerful GANG.
