The A-U-T-H-O-R sez: Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis shouldn't
apologize for saying what needs to be said. Obviously, he stepped on a
lot of toes last week when he blamed the parents of a 8-year-old
gunshot victim for the child's injuries.
