You either don't read or you don't understand what you read.
International Studies and International Relations are two different
fields. Reread Condi Rice's bio. Madeline Albright's father, Josef
Korbel, was on the faculty of INTERNATIONAL STUDIES at U of Denver
which is where Condi Rice received her PhD in Political Science in
1981. Josef Korbel howevern died in 1977. Condi Rice earned her
Masters in Political Science from Notre Dame in 1977 Rice was a
Democrat until 1982 when she changed her political affiliation to
Republican after growing averse to former President Jimmy Carter's
foreign policy. Like Rice, Madeline Albright also received her PhD in
International Studies; Albright like Condi Rice is multi-lingual
Albright is fluent in English, French, and Czech in addition to
Russian.
