Please help an old man, with a failing memory, out.  As I recall the WW2
GI bill eligibility ended in 1946, with ten years allowed to participate,
meant the program ended in 1956.  The Korean War version was passed in
1952.  If this is correct, one enlisting in the military in 1950 couldn't
be assured of GI bill benefits.
