An open letter to Osama bin Laden
Assuming you are still alive, what could you do to help the world and
improve the reputation of Islam?
My suggestion is surrender yourself into UN custody, and demand a fair
trial by an open international court. I strongly believe, that
whatever crime one is accused of, one is entitled to a fair, impartial
hearing. The global community, especially the USA, would love to hear
your side of the story. In the western world, the re****ting of
"terrorist" offences contain many anomalies. Many feel that the
atrocities committed by "Al Qaida", in particular the 9/11 attacks
could not have been possible without some collusion of a rogue element
within western security agencies. The many victims, especially the
brave firefighters who gave their lives attempting to save those
caught up in the WTC attacks want justice. All they demand is the
truth.
Al Qaida will never destroy America and her allies, nor will America
destroy Al Qaida. It is a stalemate situation, and the longer this
goes on for, the more damage to ethnic and religious relations will be
done.
For the sake of the world, western and eastern, Christian, Jew and
Muslim, do the right thing and take the witness stand. Tell the world
what REALLY happened.
From what I've read of your speeches, you appear to believe in
martyrdom for the cause of God. Has the time not come for you to "face
the music" in the name of Allah
