Yep. And North Viet Nam ran out of missiles and missile launchers as a
result of Linebacker II. They were either destroyed or just plain used up.

The bottom line is the Viets were whooped and Linebacker II is what got
the
North viets off their butts, back to the bargaining table where they
basically surrendered. By the end of Linebacker II, Hanoi was defenseless.
Nice aircraft stats, especially considering that the Russki flown Migs or
what was left of them, chose to stay on the ground, much like the Serbian
and Iraqi airforces. The Russkis were not invincible, not even with stolen
Rolls-Royce jet engine technology. Russkis couldn't make good jet
engines...still can't.
Basically the Russkis (ok let's pretend they were Viets) rarely chose to
take on the USAF in a straight up fight.

Oddly enough, in 2006 the same Lebanese sent Jews crawling back to Tel-
Aviv after clearing some tank columns with Russian missiles.
