A group of seven Mississippi talk radio stations owned by Telesouth
Communications has dropped Michael Savage’s nationally syndicated radio
program over comments the host made last week suggesting that nearly
every child with autism was “a brat” of inattentive parents. “Michael
Savage’s comments about autistic children were beyond inexcusable and
are unacceptable,” the station group said in a statement posted Tuesday
on its Web site, supertalkms.com.

House Panel To Hold First Hearing On "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

The House Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing on whether to
repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" on Wednesday. It will be the first
congressional review of the controversial policy since it was adopted in
1993.
Opponents of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" say they plan to ride on the
current change in perceptions about homo***uals in order to repeal the
law under a new administration.

investigation into her assassination, has been shot dead.
Khalid Shahenshah, who was the former Pakistan prime minister's security
chief at the time of her assassination, was killed in a drive-by

black officers are still rare, particularly among the highest ranks.
The dearth of blacks in high-ranking positions gives younger
African-American soldiers few mentors of their own race. And as the
overall percentage of blacks in the service falls, particularly in

New Jersey to require organ donation decision

In five years, New Jersey residents seeking driver's licenses will have
to decide whether they want to become organ donors under a new
first-of-its kind law.
The names of residents who want to be organ donors will be maintained in
a state registry, while those who decide against organ donation will
have to acknowledge reviewing information about it.
