You mistake popular sup****t for the government  and reluctant
politeness not to raise contentious issues with non Chinese as
government oppression.  Why would any Chinese person want to discuss
Chinese issues with you when you show such obvious ignorance across a
broad spectrum of Chinese matters. You can't even remember the name of
the next three Chinese leaders after Hu Jintao. And you make
judgements on China based on your western expectations of how Chinese
should behave according to your cultural biases, not how Chinese
conduct their affairs in Chinese society. China has nowheere the
social tensions you have in the West. It is both impolite and
frustrating to have to explain to you and to correct you on every
other sentence you utter.  Experience is such that even after
correcting your mistakes you default back to your original prejudices
the moment you read another biased western article.  You are a guest.
So let's keep to bland pleasantries and enjoy the food.  Make your own
observations and draw your own conclusions. We don't care how you mess
up your own society.  Don't try to mess up ours.
