Dictator****ps, of any kind, whether military, religious or economic, are
always  afraid of anything that might cause them to lose power.
Especially /different ideas/ customs or people. The less the captive
public
knows, sees or hears...the better for the dictator.

Democracies thrive off diversity and open exchanges.
It is absolutely natural and inevitable that democracies
should attack the artificially imposed walls of a dictator.
Just as a forest strives to invade a damaged nearby
ecosystem, a democracy will try and try to get in and
take over until it finally succeeds.

All the while, the dictator****p becomes more and more
afraid, more repressive and reactionary.

A viscous cycle is unavoidable where the dictator becomes
ever more brittle over time, and each little new stress-crack
gets filled in by the clever and relentless democracy, trying
every trick to get in. And before you know it, usually
overnight, all those little cracks add up to a sudden and
catastrophic dam-burst.

The entire world can tell China has that certain..smell ..about it
that it's nearing its day of judgement.

Ya, let the west in.

I can't wait to see the "Wall Fall", ya know what they say
the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Should make quite a noise when it happens.
