My dear brother bought a made-in-China ceramic vase at a Target here
in Madison, Wisconsin. Cost, $19.95.  But by the time he'd gotten
home, the lead that was in the paint on the vase had somehow
penetrated his skin and he died of a brain hemorrage within three
hours.  Then, his wife took the vase back to the Target, but she, too,
had a stroke that a later autopsy determined was caused by massive
lead poisoining.  Later, four store stock clerks also died of lead
poisoning after placing dozens of the vases on the shelves for sale.
Is there no end to this?
