No, that's wrong. People *were* prosecuted in the case of Kent State.
It still seems that there was a miscarriage of justice, but people
certainly were prosecuted. It's a very different situation than TAM.
Furthermore, Kent State sparked protests all over the country. Kent
State had a lot to do with the war becoming very unpopular among
Americans, and eventually led to the US getting out of Viet Nam. TAM
had nowhere near the effects on Chinese government policy, despite the
fact that were many more deaths. Kent State was very different from
TAM in many im****tant ways. It's not a valid comparison at all.
