The Dalai Lama said on Saturday he was saddened that Beijing's state
"propaganda" had left many Chinese considering him a "devil with
horns".

On the first of five days of talks and teachings in the central
English city of Nottingham, the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader said
Beijing's control over information left millions thinking he was a
"demon".

Emotional human values were lacking in modern China, he added.

Given that the Chinese people's human and humane emotions are self-
evident all over the media since the 5/12 earthquake, I don't think I
have to say anything to refute his ridiculous accusation. I, however,
want to point out that his not recognizing the humanity of non-Tibetan
Chinese is not anything new. He was in fact expressing the same
feeling when he and/or his sup****ters had blocked a world b****
sponsored humanitarian project aimed to improve the lives of 58000
Chinese people of abject poverty on the ground that the Chinese were
not of Tibetan ethnicity.

Is he a demon with horns? Of course not. More like an old man blinded
by years of anger and frustration.
